Update II

I'm an internet hermit during the summer, it's quite the paradox because that's when I'm doing all this stuff that I want to show! I'll get around to it.

The other weekend I went camping with the YSA in my stake, we spent that Saturday putting up big big tents (I can run away and join the circus now!) for the cast and crew of the Hill Cumorah Pageant. I had a lot more fun that weekend then I thought I would.

Last weekend was fun, it had been awhile since my family had gotten to do something together and so we watched the local 4th of July parade, saw the booths on the green, saw the quilts on display and I got to do some antiques shopping. So fun!

Last week I went to both a bridal shower AND a reception (for different people). For PA, that's a lot! I have to say I'm pretty glad not to have to do that kind of stuff all the time like how it was back home. It kindof got nauseating. And hey, I caught the bouquet! We'll see what happens. My dad was like "So is there a time frame that comes with this?" Good thing I love him. I had fun crafting presents- more towels with fabric strips.

I haven't been walking lately- it's so incredibly hot and humid lately. I'm afraid it will be like this during trek and I'll melt. Like the Wicked With of the West. I'll shriek and everything.

It's also getting down to the wire for Girls Camp- it starts on the 19th. Still stuff to do, like finish the bonnets I'm assigned to do for trek. Still need a skit, cheers, etc. I'm also in charge of prizes that the girls get for memorizing scriptures.

And yes, I get to have my birthday smack in the middle of camp. Fun, no? Always where I wanted to turn 30. Can I get a decent bed and a hot shower for my birthday? Please??

Started several quilt projects recently (cause I need more projects!Ha!), I like to rotate around between projects.

Mom left for SF yesterday, we're holding down the fort. I'm so jealous that she's in a cooler climate and has access to GOOD Chinese food! Next month we get to do Yosemite/SF as a family and I'm excited. I've never done Yosemite and my parents haven't been there since their anniversary. It will be nice to see everyone in SF as well.

This weekend is a Midsingle's conference in DC, I'm going down there with a couple of friends and I hope we have fun.

So that's me- how are you?
